Ron is always available by phone or by a brief visit to review medications, answer questions about upcoming procedures or post operative care, or to just obtain a bit of reassurance. Remember the theme of our practice is one of easy and comfortable accessibility.
Other than major surgical procedures, most diagnostic tests and therapeutic interventions can be conveniently scheduled in the office. A full range of urologic imaging is available including onsite kidney, bladder and testicular ultrasonography.  Flexible cystoscopy, with bladder biopsy if necessary, is safely and comfortably performed under local anesthesia. Urodynamic testing using state-of-the-art multi-channel equipment is always available to evaluate voiding dysfunction if indicated. For male patients, blood work including PSA (prostate specific antigen) can be drawn and in-office processing begun during the office visit. Patients are never sent to outside labs for blood work unless they request to do so. This centralized approach to providing care is convenient for patients and minimizes the need for frequent return office visits. Prostate biopsies are usually performed at the local outpatient center under sedation to avoid any unnecessary discomfort and to obtain adequate tissue sampling for better diagnosis.
All physicians practice solely at the Boca Raton Community Hospital and its associated Outpatient Surgical Center. Some outpatient procedures are performed the Boca Raton Outpatient and Laser Center.
